Wind Speed Sensor

This sensor requires the IMT Irradiance sensor to function. This sensor cannot be used on its own.

The IMT wind speed sensor can measure horizontal wind speed. An opto-electronic speed scanning produces a frequency which is transformed into an analog signal by an integrated measuring transformer. The outer parts of the instrument are made of corrosion-resistant materials. The IMT irradiance sensor is required to use the speed sensor.

• Range: 0.9 to 40 m/s (60 m/s for short time)
• Accuracy: 0.5 m/s or 5% of reading
